Will Gale at PFiKart racer Will Gale moved closer to championship success in his debut season following another top-ten finish at the Trent Valley Kart Club’s winter championships. In blustery conditions at the PFi International Kart Circuit, twelve year old Will Gale scored a ninth place finish from a back of the grid start position to move forty points clear as the top novice in the championship. It was only the third race meeting of Will’s career.

Will Gale commented, “It was annoying to be nudged from behind into a spin on the first lap again but I enjoyed fighting my way through the field to protect my championship lead.”

RamTec team boss David Gale said, “There’s perhaps a lack of appreciation of the level of investment in junior kart racing in the UK, so there’s a fantastic marketing opportunity for a switched-on company. At the moment, it feels a bit ‘David v Goliath’ but we’re working very hard to secure a commercial partnership to allow Will to develop his obvious talent. We’ve cut a video using some amateur footage to demonstrate the big bucks team set-ups against which we’re competing:”
